OBITUARY OF HARRISON O. BUSH, JR.
Harrison Oney Bush, Jr., died peacefully at home on June 28, 2025. He was the son of Harrison O. Bush, Sr., and Mary Allen Bush, a direct descendant of Jacob Sloat, founder of Sloatsburg. he and his son Peter were instrumental in founding the nonprofit Friends of Harmony Hall-Jacob Sloat House preservation/restoration to save his Great, Great Grandfather's 1848 homestead which was was in imminent threat of being torn down.
