Patricia Jean Marsh, Rest in Peace our Friend

The Friends are sad to announce that Patricia Jean Marsh, fondly known as Patty, passed away on September 30, 2023. Patty was an early advocate to save Harmony Hall from demolition and shared stories about Harmony Hall when it served as an elder care facility.

She was a founding member and instrumental in obtaining The Provisional Charter issued to the Friends of Harmony Hall-Jacob Sloat by the New York State Department of Education in 2007, as well as its first treasurer.

In addition to volunteering at Harmony Hall, Patty was a longtime member of the Sloatsburg Ladies Auxiliary. Patty was a court stenographer for the Town of Ramapo and worked at Tuxedo Village Hall. Patty's meticulous work, industrious efforts, and gentile demeanor will always be appreciated and remembered. Rest in Peace, our friend.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 12, from 4 - 8 PM and on Friday, October 13, from 10 - 11 AM at the Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 RT 59, Suffern, New York. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 13, at the Brick Church Cemetery.
