As the chandelier dimmed, paranormal investigator Michael Worden seemed to cast a spell among the guests. Mr. Worden engaged all in tales of apparitions throughout the Hudson Valley. Then all of a sudden, the parlor chandelier lights inexplicably flickered several times. Were there spirits among the crowd? Michael Worden said, “Linda Zimmerman [his investigative partner and previous speaker at Harmony Hall] told me she wants us to come back to investigate the house.”

Ghost Hunter & Author

Mr. Worden's many investigations include Eastern State Penitentiary, Philadelphia, PA, the Lizzy Borden House, Fall River, MA, and the Gettysburg Battlefield. Michael has also been featured in Hotel Paranormal with host Dan Akroyd

The Halloween spirit filled Jacob Sloat’s 1848 mansion (with Covid safety protocols in place) which the multigenerational crowd enjoyed. Astro Dice Advice by Marianne and palm reading by Alan Goldberg provided guests with a glimpse of their futures. Eerie decorations, creative costumes, and great food added to the festivities. Fink's BBQ Roadhouse in Suffern and Rhodes North Tavern in Sloatsburg donated prizes. Haunted Halloween Happenings at Harmony Hall is an annual tradition. Proceeds support the restoration of Harmony Hall – Jacob Sloat House.
