About The Event

Step back in time and experience history in a meaningful way. Our Colonial Day Rev250 celebration will bring families together for a day filled with interactive activities, storytelling, and a deeper appreciation for the past. From the moment visitors arrive, they will be immersed in colonial life. Children and adults alike can try their hand at traditional crafts and games. The simple tools and techniques will spark curiosity and admiration for the skill and patience required in everyday colonial tasks. Learn about the vital role Native Americans played in the Ramapo Pass. Find out about Claudius Smith and his band of nefarious cowboys.

Throughout the day, families can participate in engaging demonstrations, listen to music, stories, and legends, create crafts, and play games of skill. Adding to the excitement, children can play colonial-era favorites such as hoop rolling and sack races. These activities not only provided fun but also highlighted…
