About The Event

Once again -finally - seasonal events return to Harmony Hall - Jacob Sloat House with a grand celebration of the Summer Solstice on Saturday, June 19th from 2 to 4 pm.

Beginning at 2 PM, in the Harmony Hall Parlor, curator Geoff Welch will perform his original musical compositions on keyboards accompanied by a multimedia show of his nature photography.

The Sloatsburg Chamber of Commerce tent will be set up on the Grand Lawn for an art show of the Plein Air paintings of historic Sloatsburg and the Ramapo River produced during the May 16th Plein Air event organized by local artist Jessie Taylor.

Beginning at 2:30 pm, the art from The Plein Air Event will be judged and the announcement of Plein Air winners will be at 3 pm.

Following the announcement at 3 pm , there will be a performance outside of Mountain Dulcimer music by Joe Rosolen.…
