Our thanks to the Arts Council of Rockland County, the Hudson Valley Bluegrass Association, the Town of Ramapo and the friends of Harmony Hall that participated as festival sponsors, advertisers, donors and guests for their support of the Highlands Bluegrass Festival & Craft Fair on September 19 on the Great Lawn of Harmony Hall. Approximately 1,000 guests enjoyed the live music of Carol Beaugard & Blue Express, Ramapo Torne Ramblers and The Proud Flesh, who performed an assortment of Bluegrass styles throughout the day. The event also featured the crafts and services of some of the region's most talented artisans, children's games, refreshments and a cook-off event to raise funds for the restoration of Harmony Hall. Congratulations to Sterlington Station, who snagged the title of Highlands Chili King!

We are proud to share that this festival was made possible, in part, with funds from the Community Arts Grants program of the Arts Council of Rockland, the Decentralization Program of the New York State Council on the Arts, a generous grant from New York State Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee and Town of Ramapo Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence.
